I watch Iorfa play a lot as I go to the molineux with my father in law. He is good enough to make it at the top level. we have Byram though who is just as good.

Re: Davide Santon
Has it been mentioned Santon failed a medical at Napoli just over two weeks ago? Issues with his knees apparently.

Personally I thought Byram played well at left back last night. I really don't see any problem with young Sam. Good young defender, looks the part.

oh dear mate!

have a look at FOMB's post again, he mentions wolves mate. if you read further down he is referring to dominic iorfa, not santon!

Sounds like a very sensible deal! I trust slav on defenders. I can remember a few people including myself who questioned why we were signing ogbonna and he worked out very qell.

I think the first thing people do is base their judgement on the fact that Bilic has orchestrated a potential deal. Bilic is no mug and as far as I and many others are concerned if Bilic see's a player as a good fit then that's good enough.

Also, people aren't saying he's the bollocks. But the bottom line is he can play at both LB and RB and has played at the top level.

He may end up just filling a gap for Cresswell. But he may end up doing that and then also going on to be our first team RB.

In Bilic we trust.

I'm amazed at how many people have seen enough of this Iorfa bloke to judge how good he is.

Can honestly say ive not watched a wolves game for years, I mean why would you?

Well, that is what you said and ron pointed out that we had in fact seen the bloke play for Wolves

Classic case of moving the goal posts

FOMB

some people do watch a lot of football, i used to watch a fair bit of championship football but just don't get the time anymore. some posters might have also seen him for england u21s. mostly though you're probably right, they've seen him maybe one and the rest they've read in the media.

Re: Davide Santon
Good loan player.

Still need another as Antonio seems to be fed up of RB now. I would buy a first team right back and let Santon fill in at left then push both fullbacks once CRESSERS is fit.

Maybe keep Byram until January and loan him out for a bit more game time second half of the season.

Re: Davide Santon
What about in January, at Upton Park, when he was on our pitch?

You can't judge it on one managers decision. On that basis Mascherano is shit as he was behind Mullins in 2006.

Re: Davide Santon
Quote from Santon's partner when he left Newcastle in Feb 2015

‘Disgusted with how Davide has been treated, fully fit for a while now with no chance to play- a club whose only intentions are to make £££’.
She went on: ‘This is not just a loan, it’s a loan with obligation to buy.
‘Newcastle as good as told him if he stayed he didn’t have a place in the team.
‘They tried to deny it this morning, to keep it on the down low so other teams wouldn’t put in an offer for JUST a loan, because Davide would have preferred that, to stay in the Premier League, but Newcastle would have lost the guaranteed buy and money.
‘They are a business not a club. And as long as they keep losing players with the passion Davide had, they are killing NUFC, and killing the support from the fans who stick around after all the s***.’
